Going for a more hillbilly as opposed to R&B influence on rock, this effectively captures some of the best rock and roll of the early days. A few of the tracks can be gotten elsewhere on better CDs ("Oh Boy!" and "Blue Suede Shoes" in particular are on dozens of more comprehensive collections), but most of the tracks are "missing in action" treasures that even the most rabid rock and roll fans may never have heard.
